A new, exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Facility Assistant at Wellfield School. We are looking for an assistant who will work with the Manager to develop the community use of our school facilities, including the new 3G Artificial Pitch (opened November 2019). The successful candidates working hours will include evening and weekend hours.

Applicants must possess:
• Experience in community provision, leisure, or sports
• Experience of working in a similar role
• High standard of literacy and numeracy skills
• Knowledge of health & safety legislation

Wellfield was judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted in June 2018.

Situated only 8 miles to the east of Durham City the school is well located for access to the A19 and A1(M). It is also within comfortable driving distance of affordable housing and areas of outstanding natural beauty.
