Part-time 18 hour 30 minutes Home Care & Support Worker required temporary up to 24 months subject to service review,

SALARY: £18,933 - £19,698 pro rata to hours worked (an hourly rate of £9.81 rising to £10.21) - grade 3 ** plus enhanced payments for working unsocial hours**
for evenings (after 8.00pm), night shift and weekends £13.00 rising to £13.60 an hour.
(plus further enhanced hourly rate payable for working Bank Holidays)
If you have elderly friends and relatives, you will understand the value they place on independence.
This role will give you the opportunity to contribute to a vital and valuable 24-hour community service in your local area, by providing care and support to service users within The Orchards, Brandon.
The post requires candidates to work flexibly on a rota basis, covering a variety of shifts covering days, evenings, nights and weekends. Applicants should have the ability to develop excellent communication skills, be able to demonstrate a common-sense approach, be able to work on their own initiative and, after completion of an induction, manage their own workloads, along with the ability to build positive relationships with service users, colleagues and external agencies.
No previous experience required however applicants should be willing to undertake personal care

Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Care or willingness to achieve within a set timescale
It is anticipated that interviews will be held week commencing 24th May 2021 and will be conducted through video call via internet. Help with arranging the video call is available .
The appointment for this post will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced level check.
