Post title: Service Development Manager – Specialist County Wide Services – full time – temporary until 30/08/2023

Job Location: the post will be located in Nettlesworth, but you may be required to work at any Council workplace within County Durham.
We are looking to recruit a Service Development Manager to support the Strategic Manager in the development of some exciting new specialist service initiatives including an adolescent safeguarding and exploitation team.
The postholder will ensure that all new service initiatives and developments are co-produced with children, young people and parents/carers and in partnership with key formal partners. You will be expected to lead on the whole systems reviews and development plans of specialist county wide services, including edge of care and supporting family time, to ensure these meet the changing demands and continue to deliver high quality services for our children, young people and their parents/carers. This will include working with a number of corporate departments eg Assets, workforce development etc.
Required qualifications: Recognised and relevant Health or Social Care qualification and Management qualification to level 5 or equivalent
