The Headteacher and Governors of the Beamish and Pelton Federation of Schools wish to appoint an enthusiastic and nurturing teacher to join our successful teaching team. This position will initially be based at the smaller of our two schools, Beamish Primary, in our Y5/6 class, but our teaching team work very closely across both school sites and opportunities for significant professional development and promotion might be available for the right candidate.
Beamish Primary School is a small primary school based in the village of No Place, near Beamish Museum. The school building, although over a hundred years old is bright, modern and spacious. The school has a much higher than average proportion of children with Special Educational Needs.
