This post is suitable for a secondary trained English teacher with experience of teaching English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The working pattern is part time to full time 0.6 – 1.

We are looking for an outstanding English practitioner able to teach English and English Literature to GCSE. In our setting we underpin GCSE qualification pathways with Entry Level, Level One/ Two qualifications to ensure that all students achieve accreditation at KS4

We are seeking a practitioner with a sound understanding of phonics and knowledge and experience of developing reading and literacy for pupils who have not achieved functional reading.

You do not need to have a background in special education but we are looking for a creative, motivated teacher with the relevant skills and enthusiasm to respond to and engage our pupils all of whom have identified social emotional and mental health needs.
We are seeking a teacher who is able to connect with our young people and ensure they progress academically, socially and emotionally.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and this post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.
