A permanent part-time opportunity at 20.50 hpw is available at Wingate library.

Monday: 1.45-5.45
Tuesday: 8.45-12.45
Thursday: 8.45-7.15
Saturday: 9.15-12.45

Reporting to the Library Duty Officer, you will be responsible for the day to day operation of a library in providing a high quality service to customers, that is safe, efficient and enjoyed by users.

Leading a team that is motivated, positive, customer focussed and that implements a “can do” culture you will assist the Duty Officer organise suitable, effective and efficient staffing rotas and operations to meet the business needs, programme requirements and budget provision.

You will actively assist the venue in the continuous improvement and development of performance and quality.

Required Qualifications:
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant discipline.

Experience working in a cultural/sport environment, of supervising employees and good health & safety experience is essential.

You will have good communication skills and be highly organised.

Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the posts.
