A vacancy has arisen within Digital and Customer Services for two Engineers (Shared Engineer Service).

The post holders will provide support to the Head of Service and other senior managers in their endeavours to sustain a quality, efficient and effective ICT Service, contributing towards the development and direction of ICT Services.

The role will provide ICT technical skills to provide customers and other ICT staff with the relevant support and assistance.

The post holders will be required to work onsite based in a school/schools or from the ICT base to deliver a high quality, proactive service providing support within the school’s estate.

You will need to work as part of a team and motivated to work alone as occasions demand. Your work will encompass providing technical support across the range of ICT systems and equipment including AVA, server/virtual networks, software etc.

The ability to communicate effectively to both a technical and none technical audience is essential.

Candidates should have NVQ 4 or equivalent in Computing or related discipline and/or have significant experience of working with ICT systems for client support.

Candidates should have extensive experience of working within ICT systems for client support.
