Durham County Council have an exciting opportunity for the role of Roofing Foreman within the Building and Facilities, Repairs and Maintenance Team.
The successful candidate will become part of a highly motivated team, committed to the ongoing success of the Repairs and Maintenance Service. The role requires the candidate to possess a commitment to excellent customer service and the post holder will be responsible for the operational supervision of the roofing function including the supervision of operational staff and framework sub-contractors.
The candidate must be educated as follows:
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a Roofing Services discipline.
• 5 days SMSTS
• CSCS Management Card
The post holder will also be required to have supervisory and/or management experience of roofing and associated works within a large multi-functional public or private sector organisation and of working at a similar level within a Construction or Maintenance environment.
