Are you experienced working with children aged 0-5 years old?
Ducklings Day Care is a private nursery based inside of West Cornforth Primary School. We are looking to appoint an experienced Early Years Educator, beginning January 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter. This post is temporary until 31 August 2022.
We are looking for someone with a passion for nursery nursing who can provide quality, focused care for children aged 0 to 5.
You will:
• Provide high-quality care and education while promoting health and wellbeing.
• Help children achieve the best possible start in life.
• Ensure learning is linked to the child’s development.
• Be able to plan for age-appropriate activities.
• Be able to communicate with parents, carers and other external professionals.
• Be qualified with either NNEB, NVQ Level 3/4, BTEC or BA Hons or equivalent. Ideally have EYPS, Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene Qualifications
Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
