Several opportunities have arisen within Business Services for Administration Assistants working full time 37 hours per week.

The vacancies are in the following teams:

Building Repairs and Maintenance team; the role involves ordering materials, taking enquiries from customers, both over the telephone and electronically, dealing with invoice queries in relation to the orders placed and various other administrative tasks.

Highways team; this is a busy role which includes placing orders, creating project files, administering Winter Maintenance activities, processing timesheets and handling pay queries from the workforce amongst other tasks. Please note one of the vacancies within the Highways Team is temporary to cover a period of maternity leave until approximately 31st July 2023 or until the return of the post holder from maternity leave, whichever is sooner.

There are 2 vacancies based in the team supporting Network Management. Duties include processing licence applications, public utility information searches, dealing with customer service queries in relation to the Network and Drainage and various other administration tasks.

We are looking for enthusiastic team players who take pride in providing excellent customer-service. The successful candidates will have good communication skills, be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and with a high degree of accuracy, be well-organised and flexible, have good IT skills and manage changing priorities. You will also need to be able to work unsupervised and use your initiative.
