1 x 30hrs Permanent ( Navigation Team)

VACANCY: RES/22/244A EXT
An opportunity has arisen for two permanent Administrative Assistants in busy Social Care Teams.
Post one - is 30 hours supporting the Navigation Team, based in Durham Leadership Centre, Spennymoor. The Navigation Team is a joint adult and children’s team which responds to the needs of disabled children and young persons aged between 14 – 25 years during their transition from children to adulthood.
Post two- is 37 hours supporting the Learning Disability East Team, based in Spectrum, Seaham. The Learning Disability East Team is an integrated service between DCC social care and TEWV health professionals, who work with those adults who have a learning disability.
Both post holders will be required to provide a comprehensive, effective and confidential general administrative service to busy Adult Social Care Teams on a day to day basis. To act as a member of the administrative team, demonstrating a flexible approach, ensuring the needs of the relevant teams are met.
Applicants should hold an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent together with previous office/reception experience.
Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
Both posts will require the successful applicants to work a hybrid working pattern with a mixture home working and from the relevant base across the county, this may be negotiable depending on circumstances.
