The Governors of Cockton Hill Junior School are looking to successfully appoint a hardworking, organised and reliable, experienced and highly effective practitioner to join our staff team. We require for September 2022 a permanent, full time class teacher who will work with our dedicated staff team who already work hard to put the needs of our children at the forefront of the decisions we make.

The successful candidate should:

Have recent successful teaching experience within KS2
Have high expectations for the learning, behaviour and care of all pupils
Be passionate about children and their learning
Have a positive presence in the classroom
Have experience of support children with Special Educational Needs within a classroom setting to ensure full inclusion
Be reliable, flexible and hardworking
Be well organised
Be able to communicate well in writing and orally
Have experience of subject leadership (in the case of an experienced teacher) and have had a positive impact on whole school improvement

Visits to the school are highly encouraged and we can offer the following dates:
Tuesday 17th May at 10am
Wednesday 18th May at 2pm
Thursday 19th May at 4pm
These will be with the Deputy Head Teacher, Jill Cooper.

This post is open to ECT’s as well as experienced teachers but all candidates need to be able to display how they have supported children in making accelerated progress across KS2.
