Locality Team Manager
(Temporary until 31/3/2023 subject to the return of the substantive postholder)

Vacancy Number: AHS/22/27A

Applications are invited for the temporary vacancy of Locality Team Manager for the Durham and Chester le Street Locality, the post will be available until the 31st of March 2023.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for a team of experienced and committed social care professionals working primarily with older people, people with a physical disability and their carer’s.

The postholder will be responsible to the Strategic Manager, Operations, OP/PDSI/Sensory Support and In House Services.

Candidates should have relevant post qualifying experience including care management, personnel supervisory responsibilities, project and change management, inter-agency and partnership development and the monitoring and development of practice standards. Key skills also include the ability to manage complex budgets and applicants in depth awareness of the relevant Legal Framework including The Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.

Applicants must hold a Degree in SW or recognised equivalent and current registration with Social Work England.
