Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums (TWAM) is seeking to appoint a Project Officer to join the team at Culture Bridge North East (CBNE).
If you have experience working in a fast-paced, objective-focussed environment, and have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, we would love to hear from you. You’ll enjoy being an integral part of a busy small team, and be committed to helping us toward our vision of a rich cultural childhood for every young person in the North East.
The Project Officer is an essential part of the CBNE team, working across all areas of the programme. You will support the development, planning, monitoring and delivery of the programme, including:
1. Customer service and communications: proving information about the programme to stakeholders, handling enquiries via phone, email, and social media, monitoring our social media platforms, assisting with the management of our website and print resources.
2. Organising events: co-ordinating planning, liaising with venues, administering bookings, corresponding with facilitators and speakers, providing information to delegates, and often acting as host on the day.
3. Monitoring, evaluation and planning: collating and analysing monitoring data, planning and analysing evaluation, providing summary reports, contributing to forward plans.
4. Administration: organising meetings, managing office consumables, finance administration.
CBNE, managed by TWAM, is funded by Arts Council England to be a bridge between the education and culture sectors, working to ensure that every young person growing up in our region has a childhood rich with excellent arts and culture. We do this by developing the capacity of the culture and education sectors through training opportunities, building partnerships, and facilitating the use of national initiatives like Arts Award and Artsmark.
