VACANCY NO: AHS/22/436A EXT

To support the proposed programme of work coming to Adult and Health Services with the introduction of a new inspection regime; an investment for additional resources has been made into the AHS Development and Learning Team

There are 2 roles, 1 of which is permanent to replace an existing vacancy and the other will be temporary. The successful candidates will be focussing on a range of quality and governance tasks as well as dedicated time in helping the service prepare for all aspects of inspection preparation.

The Service Improvement Support Officer - Grade 10 will be part of the team response to the inspection planning and implementation and will be critical in ensuring delivery of tasks relating to quality and governance for the service.

Further details include
• To support the preparations and planning for inspections across AHS as required.
• To ensure that all relevant policies and procedures for the service are developed and in place, working with a range of officers within the Service and the wider Council.
• To support of the delivery of the governance functions within the Service.
• To support in the delivery of the work aligned to the annual quality schedule such as audits, business process reviews and self assessments, as required.
• To support in the effective management of the complaints function carried out within the team on behalf of the Service, working with partners as required
• To support the development and maintenance of ITC systems to meet the needs of the team such as Durham Learning and Development system and the Azeus complaints module.
• To maintain the content of the information to the public and customers through the intranet and internet page contents regarding the work of the team to ensure it is accurate and up-to date.

Required Qualifications: Qualified to degree level or equivalent

It is anticipated that interviews will be held week commencing 22nd August, 2022
