Further Information
Do you want to be part of a team who provides an innovative and dynamic response in the planning and receiving of newly arriving individuals and families into communities in County Durham and support their integration?

Due to a significant increase in the workload of the support to refugees and the impact of other migration programmes, a new team has been developed to proactively respond to the requirements of a number of government programmes including UK resettlement, people fleeing conflict and persecution and those seeking asylum.

We are looking for three individuals who have a caring nature and want to make a difference to people’s lives. Substantial experience of working in a relevant role including multi-agency working is essential.

The post holders will require an understanding of the role and responsibilities of partners relating to national migration and resettlement issues. Experience of working with finances, providing project support and providing advice and guidance to officers is essential.
You will possess the ability to communicate effectively as well as dealing with issues with sensitivity and confidentiality.

You will be qualified to NVQ Level 4 in Business Administration or an equivalent qualification or substantial experience in an appropriate area of work.

It is anticipated the interviews will be held week commencing 22nd August 2022.
