An exciting leadership opportunity has arisen to join the IRO Service in Durham, following the successful promotion of the current post holder.
Our recent Ofsted inspection outcome graded us Good overall with outstanding leadership - we know ourselves well, our practice model is well embedded, we have high expectations and are committed to improving outcomes for children and families.
We are seeking a skilled and ambitious leader, who can work collaboratively and build on our excellent foundations of strength based, relational practice. Our IROs chair both Children Looked After Reviews and Child Protection Conferences. You would be responsible for providing high quality supervision to half our IROs and leading on the work that the service do to ensure that Care Planning is as good as it can be and makes a real difference for our children.
Salary: Grade 16, £49,541 - £53,295 per annum.
