Applications are invited for the above vacancies within the Adult Care Services area of Adult and Health Services and within the Specialist Health Learning Disability Services.

The successful candidates will have responsibility for an integrated team of experienced and committed professionals from Health and Adult Care Services and dependant on whether the candidate comes from a health or social care background can be employed by either the specialist mental health trust or the local authority.

This is a great opportunity for a Team Manager to work within health and social care and experience integrated working. An understanding of learning disability and autism is a key element of this role and managing a multi-agency team is essential.

The teams enjoy excellent relationships with other agencies with high levels of co-operation and joint working.

The posts offer considerable opportunity for development and innovation both personally and professionally.

Applicants must hold a professional qualification in either Social or Health Care to diploma level or equivalent. Current registration with relevant professional body.

Candidates should have relevant post qualifying or registration experience including some project or personnel supervisory responsibilities, inter-agency and partnership development and the development of practice standards.

Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer
