We are looking to recruit a Administrative Assistant to provide an efficient and effective administrative service to the Development and Learning Workforce Teams within County Hall.
Duties and responsibilities include: -
To carry out a range of clerical and administrative tasks which includes assisting with the following:
• The effective administration of all aspects of the learning and development programmes,
• All aspects of administration in relation to the complaints/compliments/suggestion’s procedures
• Administration support in the preparation and planning for inspections across Children and Young Peoples Services and Adult and Health Services
• Maintaining and retrieving accurate training records
• Placing and monitoring orders for training venues and complaint investigations etc using the ORACLE/DEBs system
• Contributing to workforce analysis by maintaining monitoring systems.
Candidates should hold a NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent together with having substantial relevant experience of work within a busy office environment, to tight deadlines.

Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer
