VACANCY NO: AHS/22/850A

We are looking to recruit two permanent 37 hour Social Workers to work in the newly formed Review Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to assist in shaping the future approach to review, the Social Workers will be an integral part of the new team, undertaking complex reviews and conducting the relevant assessments of older and physically disabled people who are in the review system across a range of settings.

It is expected that the successful candidates will have experience of working within adult social care with an up to date knowledge of the relevant legislation, experience of working with other agencies and teams.

Required qualifications: Professional qualification: Degree in SW, Dip SW, CSS or CQSW or equivalent, plus Social Work England registration ( or be applying for registration).

Candidates who do not evidence that they meet the essential qualifications and experience listed on the person specification will not be short-listed

It is anticipated that interviews will be held week commencing 27th February , 2023
Interviews may be held remotely via Microsoft Teams.

Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer
