The Governors seek to appoint a committed, experienced and enthusiastic teacher with senior management experience.

The school is in an area of comparatively high social deprivation and was judged as Outstanding in the most recent Ofsted Inspection. There is a strong community ethos, and the school is at the heart of the village. Staff at West Cornforth Primary School are hard working and committed to ensuring all children achieve their potential. The successful applicant will be well supported by dedicated and active Governors.

Applicants will need to provide leadership of a high quality in the academic, pastoral and management fields and be able to show evidence of the successful implementation of change.
