The Governors seek to appoint a committed, experienced, and enthusiastic teacher with senior management experience.
Due to the retirement of our successful Headteacher an exciting opportunity has arisen at North Park Primary School for an inspirational leader to provide dynamic strategic leadership to take the school to the next stage of its development. The post offers the opportunity to build on many established strengths as well as drive the school forward with ambition and vision.
The newly appointed Headteacher will need to continue to support our staff team in our journey for excellence, where learning and children’s wellbeing is at the heart of all we do. We are committed to providing a high quality curriculum that is ambitious, engaging, and inclusive.
You will need to:
• Be passionate about a culture, where everyone is valued and encouraged to succeed regardless of ability
• Be an inclusive, creative, and exceptional teaching and learning practitioner
• Demonstrate strong, motivational, and fair leadership skills
• Continue to develop and enhance our effective and respectful partnership with parents, the community, and all stakeholders
• Provide governors with new ways to innovate and develop the school to build capacity further
• Have a proven track record of school improvement.

Applicants will need to provide leadership of a high quality in the academic, pastoral and management fields and be able to show evidence of the successful implementation of change.
The County Council undertakes an annual review of its school provision as part of its commitment to establish a model of ‘all through’ Primary Schools across the county, where appropriate. This school will be part of that review.
