A vacancy has arisen within Transactional and Customer Services for two permanent Customer Services Officers working full time, 37 hours per week.

Your primary base will be Council Offices, Civic Centre, Crook and you will also be required to work across any of the Customer Access Points within County Durham.

You will provide a first point of contact for all our customers, service users and stakeholders’ access to public services by all access channels, dealing with customer enquiries on all aspects of business within the remit of Customer Services.

You will give advice covering the full range of Council and partner services and managing the progress of each enquiry through all stages to its conclusion (where applicable).

Candidates should have 4 GCSE's Grade A-C or equivalent and have experience of dealing with the public either face to face or over the telephone.
