We are seeking to appoint a fulltime permanent Administrative Officer to provide a comprehensive, robust administrative support service to the Specialist Teams to assist them to deliver a high quality service, which meets the needs of children, young people and families.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Provide core administrative functions to support the work of the Specialist Teams.
• Ensure that business needs are prioritised and managed effectively.
• Support the Business Services Team Leader in the delivery of all building management functions.
• Provide core financial functions to the Specialist Teams.
• Carry out other duties commensurate with the grade of the post.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
Required qualifications: BTEC National in Public Administration or NVQ 3 Business Administration or equivalent.

HYBRID WORKING
Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
