WHAT IS INVOLVED?
We have an exciting opportunity for a multimedia officer to join our team for two years, working across a broad range of council-wide topics, but with a focus on Durham’s new Family Hubs, thanks to the government-funded rollout of this new programme.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
You will need to be qualified to degree level or equivalent.
We need someone who knows how to get families on board, make messages simple to understand and can use their expertise to bring together a range of partners and organisations under one brand.
We are looking for an experienced communications and marketing professional to join our multi-disciplinary team, which offers you opportunities to take part in communications work for other service areas and get involved in producing and commissioning the full range of communications and marketing assets including video, websites, and social media.

HYBRID WORKING
Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
