Due to the forthcoming retirement of our much-valued Headteacher, Governors wish to open this exciting and challenging leadership role to an enthusiastic and committed individual who has a passion for teaching and learning, and the energy, vision and ability to build on the school's present achievements and caring ethos. Our school is at the heart of the local community and we pride ourselves on our friendly, nurturing and supportive atmosphere where children and staff are encouraged to ‘grow and learn together’ and to be the best that they can be.

We are looking for someone with drive and determination to enthuse and inspire our whole school community. You will ensure that our pupils receive a creative and inspiring education in a stimulating and happy environment with an emphasis on commitment and inclusion, achieved through planning and delivering a wide range of creative, challenging and effective learning opportunities that meet the needs of all our children.

Our new Headteacher can expect a very warm welcome, the opportunity to work with positive, confident and happy children, talented and dedicated staff, an active governing board and supportive parents. Applicants will need to provide leadership of a high quality in the academic, pastoral and management fields and be able to show evidence of the successful implementation of change.
