We are looking for enthusiastic social workers to join our Fostering and Connected Carers team.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

As a passionate and nurturing practitioner with excellent communication skills, you will provide effective supervision to Foster Carers and Connected Carers, ensuring they have the support they need to care for the children who live with them.

You will also ensure the completion of comprehensive and high-quality assessments of carers.

Signs of Safety is our practice framework supporting consistent practice across Children's Social Care and all of our partners, which is designed to help you slow down your thinking so that robust evidence-based assessment and analysis guides your practice.

The role is a dynamic and developing one, which also offers the opportunity to be involved in the recruitment and training of carers and there are opportunities for career development and progression within the service.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
• A degree in social work or equivalent social work qualification, and a current Social Work England Registration
• Experience of building effective relationships with children, young people and families
• Knowledge of social work theories relevant to the role
• Commitment, enthusiasm, and professional confidence
