Durham is a cathedral city sitting to the south west of Sunderland, south of Newcastle upon Tyne and to the north of Darlington, it is a beautiful city with a stunning castle and a world leading University.
Durham County Council is the largest council in the North East covering 862 sq. miles, we have a budget of around 1.3billion which helps us provide services for more than 513,000 people.
