Two new and exciting opportunities have arisen within the Fostering Team.
Redcar and Cleveland are looking for confident and experienced supervising social workers to work with and support our carers who have children placed with them.

You will have the knowledge to ensure these placements continue to offer the very best for the child by supporting the carers to help the child flourish in their care. Based in Seafield House, Redcar you will enjoy the support of an experienced team.

We care about our staff, recognise the importance of training and development and support our social workers to reach their full potential. We have a clear Workforce Development Strategy, with opportunities for professional development and career progression.

The successful candidate will have:

- a formal qualification in social work
- registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
- experience of working within a children and families social work setting
- the ability to produce good quality assessments and robust plans
- working knowledge of relevant legislation
- strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
