A Housing Options Officer vacancy has arisen within North Tyneside Council’s Housing Advice Team.
You will have an excellent working knowledge of homelessness and allocations and will have experience of providing advice and assistance to those seeking re-housing and who are affected by homelessness.
You will be required to contribute to the prevention and alleviation of homelessness, by providing customers with assistance to enable them to make choices about their realistic accommodation opportunities and support accommodation sustainment.
You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, with a commitment to delivering a high quality housing options service.
You will have experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines and be performance driven to ensure your own and the team’s performance targets are met.
