Further information

Following a recent decision to return the direct management of construction, and housing repairs and maintenance services to North Tyneside Council, a project has been established to deliver the right services to manage the Authority’s housing, education and public assets while delivering a service that meets the needs of tenants and residents whilst assuring flexibility and value for money.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the project team and support the delivery of this complex and challenging project for North Tyneside Council.

You will have a sound programme management working knowledge, and will support the Construction Options Project Team to facilitate the development and delivery of the overall project, specific workstream objectives, and financial management.

This post is fixed term until October 2019.

If you would like an informal discussion about the post please contact Adam Hagg, Programme Office Manager on (0191) 643 6213 or email Adam.Hagg@northtyneside.gov.uk

North Tyneside Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

In addition, staff and volunteers are expected to familiarise themselves with all relevant policies, procedures and guidance in relation to safeguarding children and safe practice with vulnerable adults. Within North Tyneside, safeguarding is everybody’s business.
