North Tyneside Council is looking to appoint a number of enthusiastic and flexible Assistants to provide front-line duties in Libraries and Community Centres. Candidates must be committed to providing a high quality service to customers of all ages.

Duties include physical management of library stock, re-shelving returned items, setting up rooms for events / activities, a wide range of clerical routines, reception and enquiry work and use of the Council and libraries computer systems. You should also possess good interpersonal and ICT skills. Some weekend work will be required.

1 x 37 hour post – permanent
1 x 37 hour post – temporary up to 31st Mar 2019 (maternity cover)
2 x 17.625 hour posts
1 x 15.5 hour post
6 x 4.25 hour posts (Saturdays)

You would be expected to work at any Cultural Services site in North Tyneside.
