Good and outstanding services for children are those that are ambitious for children and young people and continually seek to improve. Building on the very positive findings of the Ofsted Inspection in March 2017 that judged North Tyneside to be one of the top performing Children’s Services in the country, Children’s Social Care is looking to increase the capacity of its Senior Management Team to ensure delivery of continuous improvement and innovation. They cite the support, supervision, training, clear career progression and the high visibility and approachability of senior managers as contributing to the positive learning culture in the council”

You will be joining North Tyneside at a significant point in its journey, with the Authority recently awarded Partner in Practice status. You will be expected to provide high quality, visible leadership and influence in the development of a number of key projects that will contribute to the delivery of truly outstanding services for children and young people.
