Hadrian Leisure Centre opened its doors in July 2010 as the new and exciting leisure facility in Wallsend located at Burnside Business and Enterprise College. The facility hosts a state of the art fitness suite, 25m main pool and learner pool. In addition there is a 3G outdoor pitch, multi functional sports hall, dance studio and small hall for mixed activities.
We are looking to recruit a 31.83 hour clerical receptionist into our established team to help greet and serve over 247,000 customers per year.
You must have excellent customer care skills, provide an efficient & friendly service, be responsible for cash control of all monies in compliance with North Tyneside Council’s financial regulations and the security of items of stock and equipment. You will be required to provide an information service including programme and course details, pricing and promotional information and other miscellaneous services, taking phone calls, operating manual / computerised booking systems, issue equipment items and the sale of consumable items.
Applicants are required to use their initiative, provide an efficient and friendly service and be able to work as part of a team and on their own. If you are a team player, have enthusiasm and strive for excellent customer service we would like to hear from you.
Please note that this position is on a 3 week rotational pattern inclusive of early, late and weekend working. The applicant must be able to commit to the shift pattern below:
Shift 1 - Mon 7.00 - 3.30 Tues 7.00 - 3.30 Wed 7.00 - 3.30 Thurs 7.00 - 3.30 Fri 7.00 - 4.00 Sat Off Sun Off
Shift 2 - Mon 1.30 - 9.30 Tues 1.30 - 9.30 Wed Off Thurs Off Fri Off Sat
8.00 - 5.45 Sun 8.00 - 5.45
Shift 3 - Mon Off Tues Off Wed 1.30 - 9.30 Thurs 1.30 - 9.30 Fri 1.30 - 8.30 Sat Off Sun Off
