North Tyneside Council is looking to recruit a business support officer to provide technical business support and reception services at the Swans Centre for Innovation (CFI) business centre at Swans Offshore Energy Park, Wallsend.

The Swans CFI is home to businesses from the offshore energy, subsea and marine sectors and is due to expand in 2019 as a further three floors are refurbished to provide additional office space.

The CFI is a major part of a wider project to transform the former Swan Hunter shipyard into the Swans Offshore Energy Park, a hub for the offshore energy and subsea sectors.

The business support role will require you to provide specialist technical, financial and monitoring support to the Swans Estate Manager in managing tenancies, rental and service charges in the CFI.

You will handle the flow of people through the business centre and ensure that all receptionist and business support responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Please be advised the post will require a standard check followed by security vetting (CTC check) to cover the electronic filing of CERS3 crew documentation for vessels berthing at swans
