An opportunity has arisen in North Tyneside Council’s Housing Options Team, for the role of Homefinder Team Leader.

This is a generic Team Leader role that covers the Housing Options Service and the successful applicant will be expected to cover in these areas when required.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible Team Leader who will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive housing allocations and housing options advice and prevention service. This will include effectively managing the housing register and providing housing advice, delivering a positive customer experience and high performing services.

You will be responsible for developing a ‘housing options’ approach, which encourages potential applicants to explore their most appropriate housing solution.

You will be a great communicator, have experience of leading and motivating teams and have a good working knowledge of Housing Services. If you can work under pressure to tight deadlines and are performance driven to ensure set targets are met, we would like to hear from you.
