The Enquire Learning Trust are looking to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic and skilled Academy Business Manager to join our friendly, hardworking team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an expanding academy. The successful candidate will work alongside the Principal and Trust Business Manager to operate, maintain and develop administrative and financial procedures and systems to ensure the smooth running of our academy. The role will include management of the finances, including providing monthly management accounts, preparing and monitoring budgets, developing and maintaining financial procedures and financial systems, liaising with the auditors and reporting to the Governing Body and The Enquire Learning Trust.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a strategic thinker who leads by example setting high standards for self, school and others.
- Be able to use IT systems and packages confidently and competently.
- Be experienced with budget management and financial administration
- Have strong leadership skills and experience of successfully managing a team
- Understand the financial requirements for an Academy
- Be flexible and creative when managing simultaneous priorities
- Be committed to attending regular meetings with the Hub Business Manager and on occasion attend meetings outside of school hours
