The Administration, Democratic and Electoral Service is looking to recruit an Administration Assistant to provide administrative support in relation to the systems for Child Protection, Looked After Children, Pathways Planning, Foster Carer Reviews, and other processes relevant to the functioning of the Independent Review Unit at Parkside.

We are looking for someone with a high level of commitment to work in partnership with service users, colleagues and other agencies in the provision and development of a quality service. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication, typing and organisational skills, be flexible, customer focused and have the ability to multi task. Teamwork is an essential requirement of the post.

Your duties will include accurate minute taking, typing and processing of documentation within agreed timescales, dealing sensitively with members of the public, professionals and external agencies, maintaining a diary system and spreadsheets for meetings and updating the Review Unit’s Database’s.
