The Admissions and Information Service is a busy front line service supporting parents, schools and childcare providers across a range of business activities including school admissions, free school meals, free school travel, the Families Information Service and the free entitlement to Early Years Education.

An opportunity has arisen to contribute to the continued development of policy, process, procedures and systems within the service. The work will involve providing information, advice, support and challenge in relation to national legislation and local policy, and ensuring statutory deadlines and requirements are met. Strong ICT skills, especially in Excel, are essential due to the analytical and reporting requirements of the role.

You will be an initial point of contact for schools and other professionals, and will be responsible for dealing with parent complaints. The role will also involve delivery of training to schools, governors and support staff.
