We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced qualified Social Worker to join our Adult Social Care and Community Hubs and Wellbeing Sections to support adult social care practice to maintain the Vision of Social Care helping people live the lives they want to, building on their aspirations - and supporting the implementation of Community Led Support CLS).
Working with the Principal Social Worker/Head of Service, Adult Social Care and Head of Community Hubs and Wellbeing, the successful candidate will work in partnership with key Council departments and relevant agencies including the voluntary and community sector to embed a strong culture of strengths based, person centred working and promotion of independence, choice and control within practice.
The successful candidate will support Heads of Services to streamline working processes and paperwork and devolve decision making whilst strengthening responsibility and ownership of change.
