Do you enjoy practical outdoor work, supporting local communities, and helping green spaces flourish?

We are looking for a proactive and reliable Allotment Warden to support the day-to-day management and maintenance of our allotment sites. This is a varied hands-on role where no two days are the same - from helping maintain pathways and boundaries to supporting tenants and assisting with site inspections.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Assisting with the upkeep of allotment plots and communal areas
  • Carrying out basic repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Supporting safe, clean, and accessible allotment sites
  • Helping tenants with guidance and promoting good site practices
  • Reporting maintenance and safety issues
  • Supporting volunteers, apprentices, and trainees when required
We’re seeking someone who:
  • Enjoys working outdoors in all seasons
  • Has practical maintenance or grounds experience
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Has good communication and customer service skills
  • Takes pride in maintaining welcoming community spaces
  • Is organised, dependable, and safety-conscious
