Are you looking for an opportunity to gain a Level 2 Business Administration qualification whilst gaining valuable work experience?

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council has an exciting new Apprentice opportunity within their Multi-Disciplinary service located at Tithebarn House in Stockton.

The Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDS) works with people aged 65 years and over. The MDS includes a Falls Prevention team, Housing Occupational Therapy Team and a Wellbeing Team.

The aim of the Wellbeing Team, is to provide short term support and intervention to keep people safely independent at home. Where this is not possible, clients are then referred into long term services.

The Falls Team provides a range of education, assessments and support to prevent people falling, and minimise the effects of falls.

The Housing Occupational Therapy Team aim to ensure that clients have access to the correct type of housing to support their needs and keep them independent at home.

You will gain valuable work experience supporting The Multi-Disciplinary Service in a diverse range of administrative tasks including inputting data, contacting clients, auditing, writing letters and telephone enquiries.

The successful candidate will be committed to providing excellent service, be willing to learn and develop and will not be afraid to try new things.

Apprenticeship opportunities are open to anyone over the age of 16 years, with no upper age limit. Please note however, you will be required to meet the entry requirements for the Level 2 Business Administration course which will be delivered by Learning & Skills.
