The Apprenticeship will enable you to develop a range of administrative and clerical skills. You will provide a range of administrative support duties including dealing with enquiries from customers over the telephone, at the counter and in writing, post duties, filing, scanning and other tasks related to administration in a large organisation.

You will be required to develop your organisational and communication skills and your use of Information Technology (Microsoft Office). You will also learn how to use other in-house computer packages.

You will be expected to complete an Apprenticeship in Business and Administration (level 2 / 3) and this involves:

• Level 2/3 NVQ in Business and Administration
• Level 2/3 Certificate in the Principles of Business and Administration
• Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT (as required)

All of the roles are customer facing and the ability to demonstrate confidence to work with customers both verbally and in writing is a key requirement. Candidates will also need to demonstrate that they can work flexibly as part of a team to meet service needs.
