A Business Administration apprenticeship provides a great opportunity for you to gain transferable skills, knowledge and behaviours to kickstart your career.
Working in our Business Support Team with the Learning and Skills Service in Billingham, you will gain valuable experience providing a professional administrative support service with exams administration, data processing and learner support functions that support a very busy learning centre. Your duties will be varied depending on which team you are placed in, but could include updating and maintaining records, minute taking of meetings, answering queries (by telephone or email), contacting customers, marketing activities, computer work, booking travel and accommodation, diary management plus many more.

As this is an apprenticeship opportunity, you will be provided with all the training and support you need to be a success.
We are looking for someone with the following qualifications, personal attributes, skills and behaviours:
• English Language & Maths Level 2 qualifications - GCSE at Grade C / 4 or above or equivalent Level 2 Functional Skills
• IT Skills – Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
• Communication skills- listening spoken and written
• Experience working as part of a team (this could be in a sporting, educational, work, or social setting) as well as demonstrating use of own initiative
• Organised & able to work effectively under pressure

SALARY: We pay our apprentices National Minimum Wage for Age:
• Age 23 and Over: £10.42per hour - £20,103p.a.
• Age 21 to 22: £10.18per hour - £19,640p.a.
• Age 18 to 20: £7.49per hour - £14.450p.a.
• Under 18: £5.28per hour - £10,187p.a.
