Are you looking to take your first steps in an exciting career in marketing?

Darlington Borough Council’s communications team has an excellent opportunity for a Digital Marketing Apprentice to gain invaluable work experience and an accredited qualification. You will be working as part of a small, busy team where no two days are the same.

Your main duties will be to assist the communications team to help boost the reputation of the council, be creative in marketing campaigns and increase presence on social media.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual who is equally comfortable offering creative input for marketing campaigns, making the most of social media or responding to media inquiries. You will have attention to detail and accuracy, flexible approach to work and willingness to be trained and developed.

In return you will be supported to achieve a Junior Content Producer Apprenticeship Level 3 and receive the numerous additional benefits of working for the Council.
