A Business Administration apprenticeship provides a great opportunity for you to gain transferable skills, knowledge and behaviours to kickstart your career.
Working in our DoLS administration team, you will gain valuable experience providing professional administrative support with a unique opportunity to develop an awareness and understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and the DoLS framework. It includes the processing of applications for Deprivation of Liberty, arranging mental health and best interests assessments, and ensuring assessors, signatories, care settings and other relevant people receive all necessary paperwork within the required timescales.
The team is also the point of contact for Mental Health Act assessment requests, and you will be required to provide administrative support to process incoming referrals for these assessments.
As this is an apprenticeship opportunity, you will be provided with all the training and support you need to be a success.
We are looking for someone with the following qualifications, personal attributes, skills and behaviours:
• English Language & Maths Level 2 qualifications - GCSE at Grade C / 4 or above or equivalent Level 2 Functional Skills
• IT Skills – Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
• Communication skills- listening spoken and written
• Experience working as part of a team (this could be in a sporting, educational, work, or social setting) as well as demonstrating use of own initiative
• Organised & able to work effectively under pressure

SALARY: We pay our apprentices National Minimum Wage for Age:
• Age 23 and Over: £10.42per hour - £20,103p.a.
• Age 21 to 22: £10.18per hour - £19,640p.a.
• Age 18 to 20: £7.49per hour - £14.450p.a.
• Under 18: £5.28per hour - £10,187p.a.
