We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice, who is looking to start a career in Human Resources, to support the provision of Human Resources and Organisational Development services at Sunderland City Council.
You will develop your knowledge of employment legislation, HR policies and processes, and develop the ability to handle day to day queries, provide HR advice, produce HR documentation and work on a range of HR processes using HR systems to record and provide information; working in HR advice, recruitment, training and development, and HR Administration.
You will need a high level of dedication and commitment to learning as you will undertake the HR Support Apprenticeship (Level 3). You will also need to be able to complete Level 2 in English and Maths, or equivalent, prior to completing your apprenticeship.
As an Apprentice HR Assistant you will be friendly and professional, enjoy working with people and committed to a career in HR.
On successful completion of this apprenticeship you will be able to apply for Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (Assoc CIPD).
