Further Information
As a Customer Service Practitioner apprentice in Parking Services, you will be working within an enthusiastic and award winning team of people delivering a high standard of customer service. Your apprenticeship will predominantly be based with Parking Services – enforcement – as a Civil Enforcement Officer, however, a lot of other aspects of customer service, including working within the Shopmobility team, will form part of this exciting apprenticeship.

Apprenticeships are an excellent option for all ages. An apprenticeship is a genuine job where you will receive formal training to gain a recognised qualification alongside gaining technical knowledge, practical experience and wider skills you need for employment and a future career.

We are taking positive action to drive up standards at both a National and Local level and encourage applications from those that do not already hold qualifications at or above the Level of Apprenticeships on offer.

We need to give priority to the employability and skills needs of young people aged under 25 because they have a higher unemployment rate than over 25’s, particularly 16-18 year olds Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET).

We are keen that all sections of the community, including disadvantaged communities within Newcastle upon Tyne such as those parts of the City with low Index of Multiple Depravation (IMD) scores, have the same opportunities in life as other people. We guarantee an interview to candidates from under- represented groups that meet the essential criteria documented on our Person Specification.
