Two Year Apprenticeship

The Community Economic Development Team are responsible for supporting the retail sector across the County.

Delivering against the priorities of the major centre Masterplans, they identify, develop and deliver a range of activity including capital programmes; retail business support for growth and development; and, offering both physical and social regeneration within our secondary centres and villages.

The team also delivers initiatives in line with local action plans to support Community (Economic) schemes identified by the Council’s Area Action Partnerships and other key stakeholders.

The post holder will assist the Seaham Townscape Heritage Project Officer in the development of the Lottery Stage 2 Application and will acquire a variety of admin skills and experience throughout the duration of the apprenticeship.

Applicants should have the ability to achieve Level 2 or 3 Business Administration during the duration of the apprenticeship
