Assistant Caretaker at Wooler First & Glendale Middle School:
Assistant Caretaker required – Band 2

We are looking for a hardworking and motivated individual to join our dedicated facilities team on our shared campus. You will work under the supervision of our residential caretaker undertaking all aspects of the essential tasks to ensure the upkeep and smooth operation of our facilities. This role would suite someone who is able to be flexible regarding working hours, is reliable, hard working and brings a range of practical skills to the role.

Hours and Pay Scale – 16 hours per week (daily/weekly hours subject to change – agreed rota including opening up/locking up and some lettings including some Saturdays) whole year contract.

The shared campus of Little Acorns Nursery, Wooler First School & Glendale Middle School is a lovely place to learn and to work. We have 300 super children in our school family this year.

Local government service pay scale – Band 2 Point 10 to Point 13 - £15,238.00 to £16,191.00 (pro rata = £5,589.00 to £7,002.00)

Wooler First School supports the Northumberland County Council living wage agreement so this salary will match the £7.85/hour living wage on basic salary.
